I Did consider Creskeld as a "Mythical ". Think that ought to win, but the
card is so Vile its untrue . Maidens and juveniles and its Dross. In fact
the only race that interests me is the last , and thats why its a short
message , and a 1-race message, but I have 2 horses at 20/1 and 25/1 that
must be backed . They may not win but at "combined odds" of over 10/1 I am
going to hammer these today and Get stuck in and this is the only race i,m
interested in . SRV Below but both these are worthy of early prices in the
morning . I Really fancy these two. Just a shame they run in the same race.


Take the early prices. I know by going for these that they cant start at
their advertised prices , but even at 12/1 the pair they,d be value.

Yesterdays Summary


Slow Start but we clawed our way back after getting no joys with the bigger
priced, early runners . A Loss of £5 on the day is bearable as I think we
were dreadfully unlucky . As messages go that was a Vintage message and
deserved better fortune . BONITA Ran a good race , looked sure to win
around the final Bend, and 2 furlongs out was certain of at least a place
but he just died over the 8 furlong without a recent run and he just didnt
get home . I am certain that was still a decent risk in that he ran very
well , but its annoying to lose money on a race when the negatives for
Leonora Truce and Hot Love and Francport were so strong . I think i,d had
the race as sorted "as I could have "without actually winning on the race .
I Didnt see Susans Pride so cant comment on her defeat , but it clearly
didnt run well from the commentary . The "Move " in the 1.40 was suggested
and that was Distant Cousin who won at 6/1 unstaked and Zamorin at 12/1 was
also unstaked and I made a stupid error in not betting that horse . With
RANSOM O'WAR , Thats won easily which was needed to be honest , but that
race was bent in my opinion . Kevin Ryan has to be questioned about
PLATINUM CHARMERS Performance . His answer will no doubt be connected to
the fact that dense fog meant nobody could Fully see what happened at the
start and nobody can prove a thing . There is a school of thought that you
can easily belive that a close 2nd to an "89" rated winner would murder
Platinum Charmers handicap mark . Ryan does this a Lot with the "Platinums
" ( How many times have I said that now ? ) and I think hes done it again
yesterday and you should have anticipated the market . When someone wants
to lay a grand at 8/1 on a horse showing 5/1 and drifting the warning signs
are always there . There is No Chance that the race was run on its merits
for me. We had the winner though and at least we can say that . The Split
staked bet in the last came 1st and 2nd, the Wrong one won and we Won £5 on
the race , but had Days Of Grace Won we,d have have had a decent winning
day . All in all £40 staked and £35 returned.

I think part of the problem why we have not had a recent BBOD is because
there have just been those strong single reasons why the bet may flop, and
its very hard at the moment to find a horse at decent odds that isnt in
danger of Collapsing. You may have noticed that most of what we Bet has
been backed in the markets. Its very easy to get the negatives, as we saw
yesterday as favourite after favourite capitulated in the early races when
clearly not bred to act at the track. The negatives have been excellent but
at the moment i,m struggling to turn that Home into winning BBOD,s and many
prices are putting me off . That will change , its very easy to win money
at betting , but winning it for others take Vision and its often not there
. I needed the Vision to Tip Zamorin yesterday but I didnt have it and we
had No Bet . We may not have had "final selections" right in every race ,
or won on every race , but we went very close in all 8 races and had them
all more right than wrong . Its just that somedays there is no "vision" and
I feel like we should have won yesterday .I will say that I think the
chance of us losing over the 12 months is impossible and I feel i,m
improving now even more and you,ll not see the like of this service ever
again come next december .

I did say i,m number the DRV,s and Mythical bets so people can keep records
. I,ll start from today . Up To Now this Flat season we have the Following
record on the mythicals . I,m not doing it to Lsp as its a nuisance as i
play so many split stakes/each way bets and I cant be bothered to
setttle the bets like that . I,m taking returns of between £8 and £12 as
"placed " bets, and recording them like this.

GONE 'N'DUNNET Went on my List of Horses to Follow when He ran 2nd to
Sundried Tomatoe here over C+D and clocked a fast time. Hes since been
beaten at Wolves where He missed the break and was forced wide before he
made a lot of ground up .Wolverhampton was never certain to suit him as
much anyway . Hes won in this class before, hes top weight as hes the best
horse in the race and hes at the top of his game .

XSYNNA Was a Mythical the other day when trying to make all from stall 1 at
16/1 against a Fast timer Creskeld (runs earlier) . Polglase is trying to
win the Southwell Championship this year and must have been delighted at
how it ran . Last weeks race was no better and XSYNNA recently had
several winners behind him when 3rd in a far better race than this . He
looks a "Job " horse this year and trained by a gambling yard. Mark
Polglase reports that he will certainly win this year between 7f and a mile
and hes proven here on the track . He also reports that he has totally
freshened the horse up with a light campaign and hes expected to win .
Today is 6f , but Both his wins have been at this trip, and hed have won
at 6f last week and in the form he is, off a light weight he must have
every chance of bursting clear and holding on from a great draw.

Looking at the other runners , i,ll quickly run through them .PETONGSKI is
a nightmare horse whose been thrashed on his last 3 starts and seems out of
form and Hard to win with .ATTORNEYS Stable are still a bit "in and out "
and this has a very hard task from his draw out in 15 of 16. ONLY ONE
LEGEND is in a similar boat from Stall 16 of 16 on her All Weather Debut
after a 7 week abscence . TEMPER TANTRUM is out of form and so is his
stable who are really struggling .You dont want an out of form sprinter .
STAND BY Hasnt won in years , His stable havent had a winner since January
and the horse cut little ice here yesterday . WEET A ROUND Is a Littmoden
reject thats downgraded yards and looks to be deteriorating and from Stall
1 hes going to suffer badly . His only start here also saw him Flop badly
.SECOND VENTURE is a Horror horse who pulls hard and never gets his head in
front . I,m happy to forgive him his last start, but he only won a bad
maiden before that after 23 starts and I think hes a Mule .MINDEROO is
modest and has recently downgraded yards . QUEST FOR GLORY has ran 2 bad
races in a row and takes on older horses when he needs to dominate and be
at the top of his game . SABANA is running Ok and may run well but I cant
see many fast figures for Him .HIGH ESTEEM ran well last time after an
abscence and comes from a stable in form and must run well, but is still
6lbs higher than his best ever winning Handicap mark .
STRENSALL is a horse that has only won at 5f and every attempt at this trip
has seen a heavy defeat and being held up wont help, neither will an
abscence or the fact his yard havent had a winner since Summertime.FIENNES
is a talented horse but he must have races run in a certain way to show his
form, they need to be falsely run, he needs horses to collpase in front of
him and then he comes through . He may actually get that sort of race but
at 11/2 thats a ridiculous price for a horse like this. CASH has a chance
but has been beaten in 2 easier races recently .

All In all , I Love the Chance of XSYNNA Here and hes my Number 1 selection
and 25/1 is Massive . I also think the 20/1 about GONE 'N' DUNNETT is a
great price and more than worthy of a saver . Even if we get 16/1 the Pair
its fabulous value and i,m VERY Confident that these 2 have genuine
winning chances today .
