Best Bet of the Day
No Bet
My Best Bets are too short and too "Obvious" to Tip, but My Personal Bets will give the exact strength behind each bet. There is no analysis today as the racing is so competetive and far too much of it to be able to produce a worthwhile Drv so it is just a very short message today. The Day revolves around a strong bet for me tonight at Haydock . If that loses I will probably lose baring a big priced recovery
winner, but I doubt it will Lose. There is No Racing tommorow so no message.

Yesterdays Summary
Hmm. I Cant complain about yesterdays BBOD. I Fancied two horses, went with Swynford Pleasure and they both ran really well. CLASSIC MILLENUIM Won , and I did tell you to "save " on that horse, in fact I was insistant about it, and SWYNFORD PLEASURE ran a great race and came to win alongside 4 horses and could easily have won or framed. Both ran really well and to have the "wrong one" on the account win just highlights the ridiculousness of that situation that I keep boring you about . The Saver produced a profit on the bet , even if it was "unofficial" , and the personal bets won on the race. I am certainly not going to beat myself up about that especially as the Account bet was only beaten a couple of lengths and was just nodded out on the line. SENIOR MINISTER , I Believe was a "Job" horse and ran a great race after missing the break and that very nearly won . The Day shows an official loss but if you have had a bad day I think you have to understand a bit more about the restrictions I am under and when I suggest a saver its usually a good idea.

Selection = SILVER PRELUDE
I would not normally play here but the Statistics are so strong that I have to include it in the DRV. Form is irrelevant in these types of races and the statistical trends are so powerfull that they are all you need. Cutting a long story short you have to have several factors in your favour. No Maiden has ever won this race so they are out .You have to have a High Drawn horse as history shows a massive bias to high drawn animals. If You have a horse with a Large weight they have to be exceptional to win. They have to be on the verge of a Royal Ascot winner to be able to defy weight in this race.Only top notch juveniles can defy weight in this race. There have been 3 horses carrying over 8st 10lbs to victory in this race but 3 were winners at Royal Ascot that year . Fillies have a far better record than Colts with 9 wins since 1992. There is also a strong advantage to horses in the first few in the betting. It isnt a race for shocks despite 23 Juveniles running loose on a Grade 1 track. In fact the stats for outsiders are startling. Since 1991 there have been 157 horses start at 16/1 or over and None have won .You also need a horse that can race prominently and not get behind and lose the draw advantage. So what are we left with ? LAKE GARDA (poor stableform) and FISHLAKE FLYER Both have to be "negatives" as they are Maidens. Andrew Balding'sTRICK CYCLIST Looks poor value from stall 8. PRINCE OF DENMARK Looks far too short at 7/2 especially as a Colt . COP HILL LAD and DANSEMEAD Have good chances but very high weights to concede. The Suggested bet is Dean Ivory's SILVER PRELUDE Who hacked up at Windsor last Monday on ground that was too fast for him. He has a high draw, is a front runner, a winner ,and gets plenty of weight from many of his rivals. At 12/1 he is a value bet .
