STROLLER is a confident bet. I have been delaying his release watching a couple of non runners and the market settle down. After 3
runs in Ireland for Dermot Weld She came to Fanshaw's and won a 10f maiden on her first English run. The horse she beat by 2 lengths
(Kabeer) has since placed in a maiden and won a handicap off 62 , and followed up winning a Class D handicap off "75". I was then
advised to bet her at Lingfield as she was definately ahead of the handicapper. She was rated 70 at Lingfield and she was a horse that
was expected to win handicaps off better marks than that. She ran a very good race at 6/1 when coming 4th beaten only a length showing a good crusing speed. Those 10f races at Lingfield are rarely suitable for staying types and being a daughter of Saddlers Wells I cant believe 10 furlongs atLingfield were her optimum conditions. She also had a wide draw that day which didnt help. The form isnt great but the 1st , 2nd and 11th have all won since . Since Lingfield she has improved at home and looks set to take this 0-70. She will relish the ground and the only dangers appear to be the usual problems of luck in running, the chance she may hate the track, (no more or lesss likely than any other runner) and whether she will stay 12 furlongs. I think she will stay , she is certainly bred to and I think she will improve for the sstep up in trip. She comes from the best stable in the race, and Johnny Murtagh , who shows a profit riding for Fanshaw in every age group comes here for his only ride of the day. Fanshaw has already had a winner this season with Azarole at Warwick and although STROLLER's price is short at 2/1 after the non runners, this may be the last chance we get to bet her in a 0-70 handicap and the fact she is back against her own sex is a bonus. She improving. Shes superbly bred. She ought to take care of her oppostion today.
