Very short message today devoid of most of
the usual analysis. It will please those people
who don't read the messages in full. I am not
able to produce a normal message today and
I apologise for this but it's been unavoidable.
Just 4 races with ordinary selections. One of
those days where circumstances have beaten
me. Basically a right off besides these 4 races.

There was no message on Tuesday so that just
left Monday to review. There were 2 previews in
a short message. The first was a loser in Toretto
but the main bet was AULD FYFFEE who won at
a lovely price backed from 13/2 to 9/2. That made
the decision to postpone a day off very pleasing
and you would have to dig very deep to find one
better example of how statistics can work in low
grade races than that race and a very good day.
P r o f i l e s @ P r e v i e w s
Ludlow 12.40
6/4 Moss Street, 2/1 Stentorian 4/1 Desert Recluse
10/1 Shareni, 16/1 Osorios Trial, 25/1 Todoistodare
33/1 Garde Freinet, 33/1 Jackfield, 50/1 Douchkirk
50/1 Pembridge, 100/1 Galactic Power.
This is a 2m Novice Claiming Hurdle
Not too many of these races in December
DESERT RECLUSE looked wrong aged 7
With just 2 hurdle runs
MOSS STREET has chance
STENTORIAN looks the better option
Selection
STENTORIAN 11/4
Lingfield 1.00
15/8 Biting Bullets, 2/1 Greatest Journey
9/2 Marmalad, 7/1 Mywayalways, 10/1 Perfect Orange
12/1 Cascading Stars.
BITING BULLETS does have the best numbers but
I agree with the Racing Post there is a stamina issue
and winning a 7f race two days ago is not my idea of
a safe profile. The best profile is MARMALAD but his
stable do leave me cold. I think the best bet is to take
MARMALAD and GREATEST JOURNEY and go down
the split stake route. Improvement will be needed by
GREATEST JOURNEY but he ought to and he looked
like he had a bit in hand last time and coming from a
more reliable stable counts for plenty.
Split Stake
GREATEST JOURNEY 7/4 Win Bet to half stakes
MARMALAD 4/1 Win Bet to half stakes
Lingfield 3.00
6/4 Jacqueline Jouliac, 3/1 Filosofo, 9/2 Greenside
11/2 Synaesthesia, 10/1 Kalifi, 25/1 Dukes Meadow
50/1 Shanghai Sunrise, 50/1 Stage Girl.
This is a Mile Maiden
SYNAESTHESIA is a filly with 1 run in 2014
I'd rather look elsewhere and feel others are safer
GREENSIDE has 1 run where he started 33/1
FILOSOFO has 7 runs and absent 157 days
I found 2 winners absent that long with 6 runs
Thats enough to give him respect
JACQUELINE JOULIAC ran over 10f last time
Only 2 horses ran with this profile and 4 career runs
One won the other was a 150/1 outsider
JACQUELINE JOULIAC has a decent profile
I like JACQUELINE JOULIAC best
Selection
JACQUELINE JOULIAC 6/4
Win Bet
Lingfield 3.30
15/8 Haines, 3/1 Honest Strike, 11/2 Brabazon
7/1 Crouching Harry, 8/1 Novel Dancer
12/1 Josie´s Dream, 20/1 Daidaidai
20/1 Green Du Ciel, 25/1 Mollyow, 33/1 Vera Lou.
This is a 2m Handicap for Amateur riders
There are 22 similar races in December
3 year olds are just 1-25 in these races
That winner was not like HAINES
As a 3yo from 11f I see weakness in his profile
BRABAZON landed a gamble in this race in 2010
He was 7 and had a very long absence
He is now 11 and also has a very long break
As an 11yo my angles say overlook him
CROUCHING HARRY - Very average profile from hurdles
The only winners his age ran far better last time
NOVEL DANCER - Statistically he fine
The main concern is it may not be his time of year
DAIDAIDAI has been gambled
Very clever and accurate yard
Not keen he has raced once since May
Must be worth a saver from this stable
HONEST STRIKE looks the win bet
Selection
HONEST STRIKE 3/1 Win Bet
DAIDAIDAI 8/1 Saver
