5 Previews
0 Staked Bet

York starts tomorrow
First message of the week
I started this message very late
It is a chaotic practice message

I think there are 5 Previews
It's such an untidy message
It is not easy to count them all
Other races discusssed as well
It is one big blob of a message
Not taking anything serious today
I'm rusty and behind schedule

Today's Bet

No Staked Bet

BOXING

Tomorrow I tell you about a Boxing bet
Its the Mayweather v McGregor fight
My Tennis man has an opinion on this
I appreciate that sounds rather odd
But I love the bet he has spotted in this
So I will steal that bet for tomorrow

I want to start a New Paragraph as well
To run daily called Future Betting angles

TODAY'S MESSAGE

Todays message is a bit pathetic
You may be able to pick something out

I will cherry pick York races
I can not see me doing much tomorrow
It will be other tracks that offer more

No Chance of a bet today

My best bet is this

Yarmouth 7.40

DEFINING MOMENT 7/2

Each Way

SUNDAY'S REVIEW

No Monday message to look back on
So a short review on Sunday's efforts
The main bet went down unfortunately
An each way double failed on the 2nd leg
TOUCH OF SPARKLE fell 2 hurdles out
He looked to be struggling at the time
Had a modest place chance when falling
But overall it was a disappointing effort
Didn't have much luck elsewhere either
An early winner turned into a false dawn
AWSAAF was one of my highlighted bets
He just went off too fast as he did last time
He is so fast and had the all in big trouble
But he paid late for going off too quickly
I could have staked the bet at Pontefract
It's not a track I have much confidence at
We ended up with our two savers winning
Lots of savers winning but few selections
That's been the issue in the last few days

PROFILES & PREVIEWS

BRIGHTON 2.00

11/8 Taajub, 3/1 Monumental Man,
Quantum Dot 10/1 Secret Strategy.

5f Handicap
I wanted to bet the non runner
I have a weak favourite
Whose chance has suddenly increased
Because the best option is out

TAAJUB is 10 years old absent 47 days
August September October November
5f Handicaps since 2003
Any Class of race
Horses aged 10 or more
Absent over 32 days
Return a 0-86 record in similar races

My alternative choice would be this

£7.50 Win Bet MONUMENTAL MAN 3/1

£2.50 Saver Bet QUANTUM DOT 3/1

Brighton 2.30

7/4 Al Ozzdi, 5/2 Tiny Tempest
11/4 Trogon, 8/1 Enzo, 10/1 King Of The Sand.

8f Novice for 2 year olds

Didnt have a strong opinion
AL OZZDI has the best numbers
His chance no worse than any
But my breeding stats flag something uo
2 year olds sired by Acclamation
Running over 8f and more
Ground softer than good
Under 6 career starts
Have a 0-40 record
AL OZZDI fails that 0-40 record
It is a very small field though
The ground is drying out
So I can't get excited by that angle
I will play it this way

Small Stakes

£7 Win Bet TINY TEMPEST 2/1
£2 Win Bet TROGON 7/2
£1 Win Bet KING OF THE SAND 8/1

Kempton 2.45

We Are The World looks too strong

Newton Abbot 5.30

I would have used an each way double
Gustave Mahler in that each way double
Maybe put it with the Sligo 8.20 selection
Gustave Mahler 6/4 + Chess Grand Master 11/8
Each Way double both races 1/4 odds 1,2

Sligo 5.50

I'd have gone Broughtons Star each way 4/1
Would have been more interested if 4 places

YARMOUTH 6.10

15/8 Seyasah, 9/4 Nuncio, 5/1 Silently
11/2 Miami Sunset, 10/1 Canadian Royal
16/1 Waitomo, 33/1 Danica Ashton
50/1 Dollywaggon Pike, 66/1 Elemento.

6f Maiden

SEYASAH ran a career best last time out
Almost won a Handicap on her 7th start
I think she did enough to think she can win this

She faces 2 Daniel Kubler horses
One oif them NUNCIO drops in trip
7f on soft last time to 6f on fast today
On pedigree that doesn't look a natural move
Not from a sire with a stamina index of 11.6f
NUNCIO has been used to racing over further
SILENTLY has a bad profile form the same stable
6f Maidens
July August September
Fillies from 5f races
Under 5 runs
Running within 45 days
Show a 0-45 record in these months
Thats not to mention she is also a 4yo
I think I can beat the Kubler horses

CANADIAN ROYAL needs improvement
He has 9lbs to find on official ratings
He did have excuses last time though

MIAMI SUNSET has a long absence
Could be a cheap saver if money came

I think SEYASAH will take this
My dangers and possible savers
Would be Miami Sunset and Canadian Royal

Selection

SEYASAH 6/4

Win Bet

Newton Abbot 7.30

Innocent Girl is impossible to oppose
Gut feeling she is too classy for these
But a neutral profile makes her hard to read
And her main danger has pulled out
So around 10/11 the shine has gone off

YARMOUTH 7.40

100/30 Hamish McGonagain, 7/2 Defining Moment,
4/1 Agnethe, 5/1 Justice Rock, 13/2 See Vermont
10/1 Maggi May, 12/1 Sakhee's Jem, 14/1 Miss Rosina
33/1 Rat Catcher.

5f Handicap
I would focus onb just 2 horses
This should go to one of the higher weights
There is a lack of class at the bottom of the weights
JUSTICE ROCK is included in that
He has a poor 1-41 strike rate
Not the biggest or most attractive of horses
MISS ROSINA is very beatable
MAGGI MAY is running low numbers
AGNETHE has a chance
She is only a 3yo filly and isn't progressing
Her numbers have flat-lined for a while now
SEE VERMONT a 9yo coming off a poor run

Shortlist

HAMISH MCGONAGAIN 2/1
DEFINING MOMENT 9/2

HAMISH MCGONAGAIN won last time
Having taken a recent upgrade in stable
Has a penalty and a 7lbs claimer this time
Either of these could win
DEFINING MOMENT won here 2 runs ago
He won with a bit in hand given plenty to do
Legitimate excuses at Brighton last time
I prefer the each way option best

Selection

DEFINING MOMENT 7/2

Each Way

Sligo 8.20

13/8 Chess Grand Master, 9/4 Boris Grishenko
9/2 Days Without End, Dream Baie, 10/1 Roseriver Has
50/1 Sioux Per Pushkin, Thereisnodoubt.

Bumper
On Racing Post Ratings
This season 4yo Bumpers
Are dominated by Joseph O'Brien
He has the 1st 3rd 4th 5th 6th highest rated
The best (Santiago De Cuba) has a 121 RPR
CHESS GRAND MASTER is the 5th
He has Racing Post Ratings of 113 +115
He has already beaten Boris Grishenko
He has 1 extra run experience as well
The unraced horses face still opposition
CHESS GRAND MASTER could win this
I would prefer him to the other options

Selection

CHESS GRAND MASTER 11/8

Win Bet
