Final Deliberations
Start of a brand new week
Still recovering from the last
Need a quieter low key day
Lower the temperature a bit
Then look at this weeks plans
Non committal message
Not pushed particularly hard

£2.50 Win Bet ONEFORTHEDITCH 11/4-3/1
This is a complete leap of faith
Not much more than a guess
But I covered this horse in 2013
Suggested you put him in a tracker
This is his first chance since them
Also like two short priced horses

Not much meat on the bone
Limited to what I can do today
Obvious hangover from last week
So it is just a token effort today

Yesterday's Summary
Targetted a main account bet
We had the choice of 3 options
The 3 all managed to get placed
Monbeg Park could not cope
But the saver bet rescued us
San Aer was the choice of bet
Ran well did enough for a place
Comfortable 4th with 5 places
Never really looked like winning
But he never put us under stress
Woolhampton drifted in her race
But she ran well grabbed a place
The supporting races struggled
But we got one 1 winner in those
Quinault did just about enough
To pay for the other 3 losing bets
So overall not too much in the day
Never got the big finish needed
To turn the whole week around
Would not call it a gallant effort
But competitive and gave it a go
Overall a score draw seems fair
PROFILES & PREVIEWS
Cork 3.05
9/4 Impakt St Georges, 3/1 Confidential Gosip
7/2 Fast Felix 8/1 Huntsgrove, 12/1 Champagne Dawn,
20/1 Southern Point, Truckers Cruising, 22/1 Half Montlioux
25/1 Aspurofthemoment, Cascade Hall, 28/1 Thermoscope
33/1 Four Shares, Granda George, 66/1 Forgothekeys
100/1 Ed Brady.
Maiden Hurdle 2m 2f
Modest standard set so far
But something has to win it
IMPAKT ST GEORGES a 6yo
Has experience and a recent run
FAST FELIX another 6 year old
Has experience and after 3 runs
His numbers whilst modest so far
Are at least showing improving
Felt he ran better than it looked
When he was clear on his last run
The issue about the above horses
Just how many dangers are there
CONFIDENTIAL GOSIP is one
But she has an unorthodox profile
As a 5yo mare down from 2m 7f
Go back to 2010
Maiden Hurdles
Run under 2m 3f
Any time of the year
Mares aged 5
Coming from 2m 6f or more
Have a 0-32 record in them
CONFIDENTIAL GOSIP fails this
Doesn't mean she can not win
But none like her have so far
HUNTSGROVE looks wrong
Just 1 run in several months
Beaten 25 lengths 13 days ago
Could not accept that profile
CHAMPAGNE DAWN a 7yo
Has not raced in 329 days now
Doesn't feel much quality in this
And little strength in depth too
The percentage bet looks this
Selection

10/1 Mist On The Bog, Thunder Rose, 12/1 Katherine
12/1 Roscomroe 14/1 Toor Moon, 16/1 Miss Aytan
20/1 Sovereign Duke b25/1 Johanna Yeats, 25/1 Leis Fein
25/1 So Easy Way
Handicap Hurdle 2m 2f
Impossible to sort this out
Without spending a day on it
BUTTONED UP is topweight
Inexperienced mare off 91 days
She does not look very appealing
KATHERINE another older mare
Was beaten miles in her last race
Get the above beaten
The class horses are these
LISPENDENSE rated 93
ONEFORTHEDITCH rated 92
The Racing Post take the view
" A bumper winner and fair performer on the level
LISPENDENSE may be able to do something
now sent handicapping"
Purely an assumption
But almost 2 years ago
I did a piece on this horse
Suggested you watched him
And put him in your tracker
Showed promise in bumpers
Very clever trainer
Expert with older horses
Especially with absences
His trainer said at the time
He had a high cruising speed
With a good turn of foot as well
Only ran 4 times since then
Never fancied or in winnable races
There's been a bit of money for him
This is winnable
It is also a leap of faith as well
But been aware of him for 2 years
And perhaps today could be the day
Selection

£2.50 Win Bet ONEFORTHEDITCH 11/4-3/1
Lingfield 3.45
5/4 Pablo Del Pueblo, 9/2 Diamond Dreamer
9/2 My Turn Now 13/2 Battle Point, 8/1 Zeno
14/1 Chiedozie, 20/1 Orange Rosetta
33/1 Spirit La Adelita.
5f Handicap
PABLO DEL PUEBLO a 6yo
Won here just 9 days ago
His first win since March 2023
When he was rated far higher
Think he might win again
DIAMOND DREAMER a 4yo
Has topweight and 5 weeks off
And has not raced over 5f before
He has to concede weight as well
CHIEDOZIE also gives weight
And has no experience over 5f either
MY TURN NOW is a 4yo filly
She has not raced in many months
BATTLE GROUND is exposed
He has raced just twice in 9 months
ZENO has ran just once in 104 days
Looks a manageable race
PABLO DEL PUEBLO
Looks a Class 6 horse
Running in his right grade
If you look at his career record
He is 0-31 in Class 5 or higher
He is 6-16 in Class 6 races
May have too much for these
Selection
PABLO DEL PUEBLO 11/8
Win Bet
Naas 4.20
7/2 Eternal Reign, 4/1 Chessalla, 9/2 Colugo
6/1 And Yet It Moves, 6/1 Flying Phoenix, 8/1 Super Exceed
10/1 Nunc Est Bibendum, 10/1 Supreme Success, 12/1 Kelbelle
16/1 Mapa, 20/1 Gladiadora, 33/1 Star Of Atlantis
100/1 Starlight Legacy.
Fillies Maiden 8f
ETERNAL RAIN looks solid
She has raced 3 times before
Has a decent run only 9 days ao
She should be going close in this
The obvious question to ask here
Is she vulnerable to an improver
She is but very few look suitable
COLUGO was 100/1 on her debut
Small stable she was a cheap horse
With 50 days off we can beat her
KELBELLE unraced drawn in 13
Joseph O'Brien so assume nothing
Sired by Kessaar I have my doubts
She may well be the yards 2nd string
Happy to oppose all the debutants
CHESSALLA is the main danger
Looks a big tall horse with ability
But see her as danger not selection
Ran her profile it surprised me
Go back to 2008
July August September
Fillies maidens over 8f
Horses with just 1 run
Coming from a mile race
Running within 35 days
Return a poor 1-96 record
I was expecting a bit better
CHESSALLA has this profile
Expecting the favourite to win
With her momentum and fitness
Selection
ETERNAL RAIN 6/4
Win Bet
Naas 4.50
10/11 Heavens Gate, 6/1 Midnight Strike, 8/1 Morning Vietnam

50/1 Adrenaline Rush, 50/1 Dandy Khan, 50/1 Roaming Eyes
66/1 Tino Pai, 100/1 Manhattan Chute.
Ballyhane Stakes
2 year olds over 6f
MIDNIGHT STRIKE drawn 17
Has some decent figures in 3 runs
But she has to give 7lbs weight
To a decent 102 rated favourite
HEAVENS GATE from Aidan
Placed in the Albany at Ascot
When having the worst of the draw
Placed in a Group 2 next time out
Beaten by a smart expensive type
Think she should be winning this
Might be one or two lurkers here
MORNING VENTURE is one
Having won just 10 days ago
That win was only over 5f though
And drawn in 22 not safe enough
Josepn O'Brien runs 4 horses
And So To Bed one of those
She needs to find about 10lbs
Bland and boring choice
But the favourite is well clear
And anything 4/5 or over is fine
Selection
HEAVENS GATE 4/5
